Q2005 R4 Update is available

At least for Q 2005 D, the subject says it all. I only saw this because of the logo on the One Step Update panel that is still telling me AMEX is down, almost a week after I first noticed this and posted an update in another thread.

Strange - Doesn't show up automatically for me. I had to go find it on the Intuit website. Seems worthwhile though:

Really bizarre, isn't it? An update for Q2005 this late in the cycle? Q2006 is making its way to store shelves as I type...

I suspect they just had some things fixed and in the queue to be released and were waiting for something to drive the release. Chances are, the lawyers said they needed to send out the updated privacy notice...

They also added a message that displays at the bottom of the screen that says something to the effect of save $10 by upgrading to Quicken

2006 now.

I removed these messages from the .dat files and a new file showed up with the message in there. The message and the file showed up after the R4 upgrade.
