I return a high priced item and realized I had sent payment through Quicken for th entire amount to my credit card company. I went back to cancel the payment from the day before and Q2005 said it was too late. I checked every payment made the day before and got the message it was too late. What's going on? Is this new with Qucken 2005?

Your rights with respect to credit cards are not effected by payment of the credit card bill. If you paid in error, ask the vendor for a credit, and if that fails, dispute the credit card charge.
