Q2006 one-step update

When I do a one-step update with Quicken 2006, one of the items on the list is 'historical prices'. It never gets the red check mark next to it like happens with the other accounts that get updated. And I can't find it in the list of things to update. Anyone know why this item is there and why it isn't processed? Thanks!

It does that if it thinks your quotes are not complete. Mine does it every day after the weekend when I skipped a few days. I think Intuit has changed the way quotes are downloaded and that only the current day's are downloaded from the quotes server and prior days' that was not downloaded are now retrieved from historical prices.

The check mark for me appears after the update of my first FI.

It sometimes does not seem to manage to download all historical prices and then it doesn't go away until eventually it manages to get all historical prices.

I doubt there is a place. It'll keep trying as long as it can, eventually it'll succeed or you'll grow used to seeing it in your one-step update.

Same problem here. Always have to manually update historical prices ...

I think if current and historical price updates work properly, you should never need to control historical prices in a One Step Update. Downloading historical prices on a regular basis should be redundant.
