Tonight, I got the following error when attempting to download my latest transactions (through Quicken 2005 Deluxe) in my checking and saving accounts at Wachovia:
"Your Financial Institution has rejected your request. There were errors in your online session. Please refer to Reference #xxxx [xx-xxx-x]." (Note: I edited the exact error number as it may specifci to my account.) I tried 3 times and got the same message. The password I entered is correct. Yet, when I checked the Wachovia website, there was no problem in accessing my accounts.
Can anyone explain what the problem was (or is), and explain how to resolve it? I've been paying bills electronically through Quicken for about 6 months and have never encountered this.
I've sent this same inquiry to Wachovia but, not knowing how long it would take for them to respond, I thought that I'd post the question here as well.
