running Quicken 2003 H&B. would like to remove the Enter/Edit/Split trio that appears on the bottom right of the active entry. At times it gets in the way of the succeeding register entry when looking around and appears on the entry above it when you are on the last entry of the page. Annoying.
Is there a way to disable this "feature". I've looked around and could not find anything or control that address it.

May be slightly different in QW03, but look under:
Edit > Preferences > Quicken Program > Quickfill
Un-check 'Show Buttons on Quickfill Fields'
It's called the "Transaction Toolbar", and it can be disabled in Quicken "preferences" (the Q2005 term). My path to modify is
Edit > Preferences > Quicken Program > Register
