I continuesly get error 1638. I uninstalled and deleted all information of an earlier version 2000, but still get error 1638 when I want to install Quciken 2006.
I went to the Quicken site and downloaded 2 files and ran them. Still same error. Then the site directed me to the MS site and downloaded 1 file there and ran it. Still the same error.
The earlier 2000 version was in a different loder and all has been deleted, yet I cannot install 2006.
Unbelievable poor software!
How can I proceed?
