I've noticed this "feature" on my Quicken Premier Home & Business 2006. I can get rid of the ToolBar, thus gaining 3 additional transactions in the register view by:
Edit - Preferences - Quicken Program - Register - Maximize my register view.
However, once I do that, the Account Bar defaults to a certain width, and always returns to that width with each Quicken restart. I can drag the divider to make the Account Bar narrower or wider, but it always reverts to the default on a restart.
I'm wondering if the same behavior exists in the Basic, Deluxe, and Premier versions.
