So Q 2016 had a maintenance release downloaded to me yesterday (R10). Could someone running 2016 kindly post when the first release that they receive is downloaded?
I'd consider migrating to Q 2017 but I'd prefer to wait for some of (if any) bleeding edge kinks to get worked out first.

Looks like (they have both Q 2016 R9 and R10 listed on that reference page that you're downleveled. I wonder why that might be, unless there's some setting you use that indicates not to d/l and/or apply these monthly fixes?

As documented, Quicken 2016 R9 is an "internal release", i.e., not provided to users.
I prefer to wait until the "bleeding edge kinks get worked out first".
