QUICKEN XG 2003 quote download not working

On the weekend quote download stopped working. The program either hangs and I have to use Widnows XP task manager to exit the program or the download appears to complete but no quotes are received. The problem with quote download continues monday evening. Is anyone else still experiencing this problem with any other versions of Quicken XG? I am using XG 2003 with an online services expiry date of

I have had the same problem occur with Quicken XG 2005 this past weekend and is still happening today. Last update that was executed was on Feb 8. Pure coincidence or is there something up?

I am experiencing the same problem with Quicken XG 2006 with last update on Feb 9. Interestingly, stocks are continuing to update successfully, but mutual funds have stopped. Pardon my ignorance, but how do I find the 'online services expiry date'?

Looks like we're all in the same boat together. My mutual fund price downloads have not worked since Friday. Stock prices come in, but not mutual funds.

On another note, the currency exchange rates were also missing, but I changed my Quicken.ini file as recommended by Al Reeves, and that got them working. I was hoping that would also solve the mutual fund price download, but silly me.

Thanks for the response guys. I too appear to download stock quotes successfully but when I check the portfolio the prices have not change since Friday Feb 9 close.

Similar download problems but then some more...

I had no downloads since Friday 9th even though I've set up the download manager so I decided to download manually. The processor went to 100% and despite a couple of attempts no success. Then I noticed that my router was flashing away showing activity from an old spare computer that I use for backup, *email server*, webcam, DNS, etc. It seems that at pretty well the same time as quicken failed to update my mail server started sending out spam.

My worry is that somehow the quicken upgrade has been attacked and some trojan, virus thingee has got onto my main PC and then across to the spare, old box (which was not running anti-virus at the time - aargh!).

It might just be a huge coincidence. Has anybody else noticed anything odd?
