Renaming Rules Q2012

I switched from a bank to a Credit Union. The downloads have a lot more info than I need. Can I do a renaming rule that would change some of these typical entries:

Draft Withdrawal @ Firehouse Subs # xx City/ST/Zip and a Trace # 12345 TO: Firehouse Subs Draft Withdrawal - ACH-A-XXXXXWEB Master Card SVCS (Online Payment) TO: Master Card Draft Deposit-ACH-A-xxxxxx -xxxx,, TO: Deposit Draft Deposit (Item #1PERCK) TO: Deposit

I would be happy just to get rid of "Draft Withdrawal @" Sometimes I copy them off to a Spread Sheet, sorting everything with Draft Withdrawal @ is useless. Tx

Have you not enabled renaming rules? At least for Q13, tools > renaming rules, then automatically create new renaming rules...? I have rules like above using "if contains" and as long as firehouse subs is in the description, it automatically changes it to firehouse subs when I accept the transaction.

Yes they are enabled, works for my previous bank, but have since changed them to "contains" rather that "is equal to" and see how that goes.

Its going rather well actually. I find that the same recurring bills from say my utility company will vary slightly enough that will cause me to add additional "rules" i.e. xxxxxxxfl is written sometimes as xxxxxxx fl
