Should I upgrade?

I'm using Quicken 2004, and I'm quite happy with it.

I received a notice from my bank (Wachovia) that they will no longer support Q2004, and that I should upgrade to Quicken 2007.

Do I really need to? Is there some difference in the downloaded record format that Q2004 will no longer recognize?

Is Wachovia just trying to limit the products they support (but there really is no difference between the versions), or is there some real functional obsoleteness in Q2004 that I should just upgrade.

Thanks for any advise.

Intuit will be preventing Q2004 from downloading in April. After the April sunset date, Q2004 will not be able to download from any financial institution or to download quotes. All features of Q2004 that do not depend on online access will work as before.

As John mentions you will not be able to d/l info from FI's which it sounds as if you do now. However, if all you want are daily/weekly/monthly quotes this can still be done w/yahoo finance & csv export/import. It is certainly more work than doing it thru qkn but it does work (it also works w/2006).
