I looked at Best Buy online and did not see the TT Quicken Combo. Where did you find it - can you provide a link?

That price sounds very good (Amazon has the same thing for $108.70, almost exactly the same price as buying the two of them separately), but I can't find it on the BestBuy web site. Can you help us find it?
Buy on, pick up at store. Mix and match differing combos of TT and Q.
If I do that, the combination that Marvin quoted above costs $135. That's a terrible price, much worse than what he quoted, and even more than Amazon's price.
Did you take off the $35 that you can do when you 'checkout'? Seems you didn't do that step in your calculations.
But still, it seems still a little higher than his $86.88.
You're right, I didn't. Since the price was so high, I didn't go to checkout, so I didn't know about it.
Yes.
I just went there. I saw that page earlier, but hadn't realized you were talking about choosing a QW edition and a TT edition separately, rather than a combo pack. So I just looked at the individual prices, and completely missed the $35 discount for buying both.
When I went there again and made the same choices you did, the total came to $99.98. That seems like a high price to me, so I didn't finish ordering them. I'll wait until a better price comes along.
And a side note to Andrew: you're right, I should have seen the discount you were talking about, but I didn't, because I thought Marvin was talking about a combo package rather than a discount for ordering both separately..
I think you might be confused: That's just the price of one of the TurboTax boxes. You have to add the price of Quicken, then deduct the $30 or $35 combo deal.
Where does the deduction take place. I went there pick Quicken D and Turbotax Pre, added to cart, went to checkout and did not see the deduct. In checkout and to the point that they wanted my CC, but the total was still the same, no deduct? What am I missing?
I went through the same thing this afternoon. I called Best Buy with the same question. The price of Quicken is lowered by the deduction amount on that page, so the deduction amount is not shown separately.
A terrible web page, that probably confuses many people, not just you and me.
I went to Amazon.com and put the same two together and it was $14 cheaper including tax (tax has not been added yet to the Best Bug figure!).
I see that Amazon.com now has a TurboTax Basic 2013 with Quicken Deluxe 2014 Bundle for $76.40. That's getting closer to what I want. But since I need the TT State Tax software too, I'll wait a while longer for such a bundle.
