Using Quicken from a new Windows User

Mar 03, 2014 2 Replies

My Windows user profile became corrupted so I created a new user and copied everything from the old user's desktop to the new user's desktop.

When as new user, I click on the Quicken icon, it behaves as if it has never seen me before. :-)

How do I get it to use the file I was using before? IOW, where is that file located?

Thanks.

I usually find mine under my User ID - /My Documents/Quicken

If you don't have admin rights, you might not be able to see/open the Quicken files under the other ID.... so make sure you have admin rights.

Aha!!! Found it. Thanks.
