Vanguard Download to Quicken Down Since this Weekend

FWIW - I've been unable to get data from Vanguard to Quicken since Saturday, March 19. Vanguard just informed (~ 1620 hours EST) me that their ability to provide downloads to Quicken went down this weekend and they are working to resolve the issue. They do not know when it will be resurrected.

They said Wednesday when I called today. They told me they were in the process of some major web site work. I bit my tongue with the urge to ask them why would they schedule such a major upgrade the month before income taxes are due...

Yes, they did say they had been doing an "upgrade" (of an unspecified nature). From what they said, I inferred that the outage was NOT expected. Perhaps my inference is not correct.

As I thought to myself holding my comment, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. After all, why am *I* waiting until end of March to do something I could have done at the beginning of February!

I just had a chat with Vanguard. The trick to getting it working again is to disable transaction downloads and then reenable them.
