Visa Card validation

I was issued a replacement visa card and had to validate it. We had lost track of the letter that accompanied the new cards, so we didn't have a phone number. No problem, just go to Google. I found about 25 different headings that invited me to revalidate my card and not one of them was worth $.10. The only solution was to rummage through the wastebaskets and find the letter. I think a lot of them are companies that are offering to protect your credit card for a fee, cluttering up what should be a simple transaction. It seems to me someone at Visa should try this revalidation process.

Whenever I get a new card it comes with a sticker with validation instructions. Either validate and take the sticker of immediately, or wait a few ddays and then do both. NEVER take the sticker off without validating.

Or call the number on the back of the card!
