What Has Happened to My Quicken?

I've been using Quicken to support online bill paying for about two years. I've been happy with it up 'til now.

This morning when I tried to start it the same way I always do, it throws up an ad for a new version. Then when I click Continue it takes me to this screen

When I click Next here I'm taken to a browse screen in a folder called Data that has nothing in it but a folder called Backup.

There are actually other files in that Data Folder but the browse does not show them because it only likes certain extensions and none of these are there.

What the H*** is going on? Have I lost all my financial history for no apparent reason?

According to Margaret, all software has bugs that aren't fixed. Maybe you found another in Quicken.
