Chip & Signature - confused by Chip and PIN!

Either way it shows that yet again this government twists things to avoid obeying the laws it sets down for everyone else. As shown in previous posts, the people to whom these cards are issued are even more likely than most to reveal their pin numbers. In fact I was advised, rather than get a second card with different pin for my wife to use to collect my money, to tell her my number and use the one card, to avoid confusion.

No. But they said it because so many people were getting into a mess, with wrong pins. I'm sure sub-postmasters didn't receive any training in this matter, and are just trying to help their customers get over this idiocy.
