Credit reports: linked addresses

Nov 23, 2009 5 Replies

I have just had 2 reports (Experian and Equifax) and was surprised to see my previous address listed under 'Linked addresses'. I left that address 12 years ago. Is there no time limit on this?

You can ask them to be removed.

Thanks, I thought I'd ask here before contacting them.

Can you ask for them to be removed if you have actually lived there - if they're not incorrect? If you've lived in the same house since 1919, you might still have to supply a 'previous address' on some forms. But where you lived during World War One isn't terribly relevant.

(I wonder how they cope with addresses which have been long since demolished

- even before they were postcoded?)

Right you must look for the right solution like internet.Just Google it and have the right solution.

You only have to put your previous address if you have lived at your new address less then 6 (or 3) years.
