My premiums have gone up with my current provider so I've been using the internet to search for alternative home and contents insurance. I know it's all in the small print, but are Morethan any good? They are 10 a month cheaper than most others!
Tried Prudential? - my premiums were halved a year ago by them and even a year on and they still come out on tops by a long way for price.
cis insurance - very cheap and friendly too !

Not sure the answer to your question. But out of about a dozen companies, eSure gave me the best deal on combined buildings and contents cover. Around half my renewal cost for equivalent or better cover. Good web-site too. Lets you tweek the cover levels and voluntary excess then simply hit recalculate for a new quote.
A lot depends on your risk catagory though. I think eSure are probably as picky with home cover as with car cover.
