Useless police don't want to deal with scam

I received an email from Yell.

Somebody had gone on Yell's website and completed a form to send me the following message:

"Hi there, I called last week regarding my business accounts and payroll. I was told that someone would call me back. I would appreciate if someone could assist me. Many Thanks Peter Jackson

07070275756 / 07070289528"

I have complained to Ofcom, the two telephone providers and Yell but Ofcom and Yell don't seem to employ staff with brains and the telephone providers don't reply.

I have told the police that they've got a simple scam which can be solved but they don't want to know. They suggested I contact the Internet Watch Foundation despite this being one of the crimes that the IWF specifically does not deal with. Confronted with this they looked for another way out of doing anything. They said that it's not a crime because I haven't lost any money. I pointed out that an attempt to commit a crime is against the law. The call centre monkey had to give up there and said somebody would call me back.

What's the betting that these numbers are in lots of messages received by Yell?

What's the betting that the owner of these phone numbers is not called Peter Jackson?
