I was trying to figure out why one of my accounts seemed not to be clearing checks. It was getting a "checkmark" on one-step update, but the checks weren't clearing. So I went to the bank's website and manually downloaded the Quicken file and all the outstanding checks were marked as cleared.
When I looked at the details for the download from the bank it said "Four transactions downloaded, none to review" and, indeed, there were four transactions pending that got 'fixed' when I downloaded by hand.
What causes that and what can I do about it? Is there some way to force quicken to 'review' the downloaded transactions [I'm assuming that the four that Quicken saw were the four that I downloaded by hand].
