unable to review downloaded transactions

Dec 28, 2008 8 Replies

I have quicken 2007 home and business. in the past 2 days; i download from bank and the red star shows indicating i have transactions to review. But I cannot see them. There is no number in the "Downloaded transactions".

What to do next?

I don't have H&B, so maybe this would not apply. I would go to a backup made before something like this occurred, or maybe the one just 1 day before that, and reload that as my file set. I would then rename it to make it really distinguishable, and then try the download again. Also, I would go to the website(s) of the FIs you download from and see whether there are any worthwhile transactions posted there.

Bottom line is, it seems you have some corruption in your file set. so I would also do a validate on COPIES of file sets you have (not the originals, keep them as they are now.

Backups are your friends.

i have validated. and backed up. I have renamed. and the downloads still don't show. there are transactions i need as i am the treasurer of a board...

solved.. I uninstalled quicken and reinstalled and voila. don't quite get it..but it is solved. thank you

I had the same thing happen today Jan 1, 2009 with an HSBC file on a VISTA system - however it worked on my XP system. Fred J.

Me too. All year It says it downloads transactions, but none show up under each account. Its as though there were a clock/calendar issue. I have validated, but not super validated. There are truly many transactions from several FIs. I am running Vista-64 Ultimate & H&B 2009.

Follow-up. This got fixed using the QcleanUI tool and then a re- install.

Where is the QcleanUI tool? Thanks, Fred J.
