Drawer will not pop or receipt print until you exit POS store ops

In SO Manager, File/Configuration, Options...
Select the option to "Share OPOS ... with other programs"
Also, make sure no windows printer are using the same port (LPT1, COM1, etc..) as the receipt printer. Sometimes software will install a print device that defaults to one of these ports even though there is not physical device - Quickbooks, Fax Software and MS Office are some likely suspects for that...
