we are just getting going with our RMS system. One thing has me baffled: when i ring a customer up i am seeing the extended description show up on the screen instead of the regular description. this is bad. how do i change it?

Hi Jessica,
Open store ops manager, and go the file menu, configuration. In the configuration window, click the options tab, and select item options. Make sure that 'Show Item Extended Description' is not checked - if it is, uncheck it
