HQ and Quickbooks

Jun 13, 2006 2 Replies

I am running 1.3 in two stores and HQ in the office. Additionally, I use one copy of Quickbooks 2005 Pro which I list the stores in separate "classes." In what way can I export data from HQ to QB. I see that you can export from SO to HQ but I don't want to maintain two copies of QB (if I am understanding that correctly).

In HQ, only SBM,SBF, and GP as well as XML are options for accounting. Any insight would be great thanks.

Steve,

You need an add-on to use QB with HQ.

There may be others.

You can also link each SO to one QB file. Link each SO and Import the G/L info into into each SO. Then push the journal information to QB from one store. Run a P&L by class in QB. Open the transactions that do not have a Class. Add the appropriate class to the transactions. Import from second store and repeat.
