Item quantity is at the store but not at HQ

I almost sure it is a user issue (wrong security setup when they installed)... maybe they created items at the store or maybe they did not comunicate the new items to all the stores, anyway they already have the problem; for example item 'a' in Store Operations at Store 4 has 8 pieces, in HQ the item exists, they do have quantities in other stores (total quantity ok for the other stores) but no quantity for store 4, not even a row in HQ Manager> DataBase> Item> Properties> Stores Quantity for that store. How can i resolve that? I have tried 501 ws- 190 Inventory wizard, but nothing happend. Dynamic data?

This's most robably coz of missing records in itemDynamic table for a reason or another, i've created a script that insert missing records into itemDynamic table in your hq database, find attached the trigger, but plz BACKUP FIRST.

If the items were created at the stores, it's likely that they don't have the proper IDs & HQIDs for the 501/190. Try deleting the offending items (mark down the quantities & be careful about any open orders) then issuing a 250 for all stores. Enter the quantities manually, then do your 501/190.

Yes, i think too it is a Dynamic table issue. I downloaded your Script, but, sorry, ?m new to scripts... I search for "how to execute scripts at sql" and tried at the command line "osql -E - i Correct ItemDynamic.sql" but nothing happend at the database...

am i correct? or does it has to be execute at the query window?... I tried that too, but to many errors occurs.

How can i specify wich HQ database is?.. I will appreciate your guide

Thank you so much for your help.

Regards.

Open HQ Administrator, File|Connect, then type your sql user & password, choose the proper DB, then press Enter Open Database|New Query, then paste the script, then execute it by pressing F5

Thanks Nashat. It runned (without the last 'GO'), -1 record updated, but didn´t resolve my issue.

Item "x" exists at store "y", HQ do has item "x" in itemdynamic table at stores a, b, c and d, but doesn´t have it at store "y".

Any ideas?

This's true Francisco, it's my mistake and i just realised it! the script i attached before would work only if the item doesn't have any records in ItemDynamic, but it wouldn't work if the item has some records. just give me till Satuday and i'll prepare a new script for u.
