I'm using Outlook Express to read these posts...and I wanted to review posts from last year. I seem to only be able to receive posts starting 9/24/05. Is there a setting to get earlier posts?

You've got them all. MS purges after 60 days. ;-(
You can get other newsreaders that will keep every post on your drive until you delete them. Some are free and some from $20 - $200

...and I can see posts back to October of 2004. Only downside is that attachments aren't seen.

Google has postings from this group back to June 2003, although a few of the earlier ones look like they may have bled through from a different group.
I've always use Outlook Express, but the fact that Google has what appears to be the entire history of this group may make me switch...
