Is there an easy way to print a "receipt" on a held transaction (or a transaction without tendering it)?
I'm consulting for a friend that owns a cigar bar--retail store that also sells beer/wine/soft drinks by the glass--and they are using RMS 1.3. Since RMS isn't really setup to handle the restaurant portion of the store, the waiters use held transactions for their orders. This allows the transactions to be recalled and added to until the customer is ready to pay and leave.
We'd like to be able to recall the customer's held transaction and print his bill at any time WITHOUT tendering the transaction. I have been unable to find any way to print one of these held transactions, either manually in the POS or programmatically with an Add-In. If possible, we'd like to keep everything as a sales transaction versus work orders, quotes, etc. as that is how the staff has been trained.
Any ideas?
thanks, randy
