I have over 2000 part numbers in my QB file and they imported into RMS. The issue's that I have is that the product descriptions are too long for RMS. Is there a way to modify the the QB file to match RMS on the import to include UPC alaises, etc?

Bill,
How did you import the items? The RMS import tool, Excel, something else. You may be able to import the descriptions into both the description and the extended description, then later you can come back and modify the description to fit.
Again, depending on the tool used to import, alias' should be able to be done too.
I used the tool within RMS Manager (File>Configuration>Accounting Tab). I selected the QB option within RMS, then went to Utilities and used Import Quickbooks.
There is alot of data that would need to be modified and going one by one would be extremely tedious.

Bill,
Sorry about that, I forgot that was an option. Using that method, there isn't a way to import the UPC's as alias. Contact your reseller and they can probably get it to import using SQL's DTS, Excel and/or EMS' Data Import.
