Recommended POS Register to use with RMS?

I am opening a new retail location and am in need of purchasing new POS registers for the store. In the past, we have used just a regular computer as the register and a cash drawer that we opened ourselves. This isn't going to work in the new location, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what machines to look at that will incorporate a locked cash drawer that is opened upon purchase, easy access to peripherals, etc. Thanks for the help.

hi

i have done some research my self. i dont have a pos yet but i am going to install two pos registers in january of next year. the way we are going to do it is buy a dell system with a flat monitor. we choosed dell because of their next day repair service. we are going to buy dell dimension desktop with petium 4 proccessors. then i would buy a seperate symbol barcode scanner, a printer and a cash desk and hook them all up.

i am not a proffesional so this is just what i would be doing for my bussiness.

Find your local Microsoft RMS partner and they will bundle the hardware for you.
