Currently we are unable to process a store credit in the same receipt as a return. We do not use Vouchers. We use "Gift Cards" which are basically credit cards to process store credits and gift cards. To issue a store credit, we have to return the merchandise for cash, and then sell a gift card for cash. When I try to process the store credit (gift card) in the same transaction as a return, it does not transfer the balance onto the card. POS thinks it has transferred the balance, but when I check the balance of the store credit card, it says "account not issued"
Is there something I can change with the tender to make this doable?
