SP2 runtime erro r '6'

Jul 09, 2008 2 Replies

Hi all,

I attempted to install RMS 2 SP2 this morning. The service pack installed fine. The version now showed 2.0.0116 in SOA. The database upgraded to 2.01 successfully. I was unable to log into SOM after update. After entering name and password I hit enter and received the error message: Run-time error '6': overflow

I rolled back for today's business day successfully. I am running Win XP Pro/SP2 with SQL Server 2005. Any ideas on what is causing the error?

Thanks,

Marc

Oh yeah, I DID read the readme file - I have no spaces in the name.

This issue has been resolved. In case anyone runs into the same problem here is what happened. I downloaded the original SP2 package as soon as it was posted. There was a change made to the original file by MS. Downloading the newer version of the SP2 install eliminated the problem.

Thank yous out to RMS support for a quick resolution!

Marc
