My Invoices & Estimates Deluxe -> QuickBooks Premier 2007

I bought My Invoices & Estimates Deluxe last week and found that it did not fit the needs of the company I work for. I bought QuickBooks Premier 2007 yesterday and it's been great so far!!

I cannot return My Invoices to CompUSA, they're closing, all sales are final - plus it's been opened, obviously. Can I return it to Intuit?

I doubt that you can return it to Intuit since the box has been opened. How about selling it on ebay or Craigslist.com?

Dunno. But I can tell you an investment in a shrik-wrap machine is the best money I ever spent (except for that one night in Tijuana many, many years ago).

How is the buyer going to register the product?

????

It is not an Intuit product.

I never registered the product. I tried once and it never went through...just another thing that was wrong with it.

Just found the little bitty small print on the bottom of the box that said there's a 60 day money back guarantee if not satisfied for any reason. I wouldn't know I wasn't satisfied if I didn't open the box! ;) Guess I'll try that. If not, eBay it is, I guess.

I believe Avanquest is a part of the Intuit/QuickBooks group since when I installed My Invoices, the program files were all named QuickBooks...and there's offers to update to other Intuit products from the Help files.

Good grief, ignore me...this is what happens when you're up until 2 and 3 am every night for a week straight trying out four different accounting/invoicing programs, you forget which is which!! I meant QuickBooks Invoice Manager... I'd already figured out how to get my money back for My Invoices and Estimates Deluxe, and Peachtree went right back to the store. Sorry for the confusion!!

I would call Intuit first and since you are within the 60 day window. You could safely put it up on ebay since you never registered the product.

As for your files, it sounds like you have converted them to QB 2007 so don't do anything with your computer. Uninstalling the program should not disturb the company file but you should make sure you have a QB backup just in case.
