I am running 2006 Premiere and the Printer Setup does not show up. When I click on it, nothing happens and I cannot print. In Quicken, there is a WRP.dat file that can be renamed to fix this problem. Does anyone know the answer for QB?
Thanks

You don't print from the Printer Setup menu. Can you be more specific and more accurate in describing your problem?
Casello,
I've seen that behavior with QB 2006 Pro.
It only occurs on one of our machines that uses a combination of HP Officejet and networked HP Laserjets.
QB seems to incorreectly think you have no printers installed. Go to the printers folder, and they are all there and ready to use. When you look at QB again, no printers are available.
I haven't figured out what is causing it.
In our situation, rebooting the computer fixed it.

GGG,
Actually, you would have to see this to appreciate.
The printer list is empty in the QB printer setup, but fine in the Windows Printers folder.
If you go to file, print ; or file, print setup both of them have an empty list.
I haven't seen this with any program other than QB.

You're right. I'd need to see that to appreciate it. I rememebr others having problems in terminal services mode with printing. Wonder if it is a related issue. It could be one of those hicups that a nice shutdown, wait 15 seconds and power up again might cure?

You said your printers were networked, right? I saw this same problem on the Novell NetWare network at my previous place of employment. Never could find a solution, short of installing a local printer on the PC's that needed to print from QB. John Jones, Detroit
