When I try and print from RMS to my Epson TM-88III Parallel port printer I am getting this error:" Invalid Operation 425: The printer cannot be accessed . It may be locked by another application". I can succesfully perform a test print from windows on this printer. I am running Windows XP Pro.

How is the printer set up in SO Manager (Under Registers/Register List/Properties)? If it's set up as an OPOS printer, you don't want to have the Windows drivers installed at all.
This error is often caused when a Windows printer is configured to use port LPT1 (as would be the case if you have installed both Windows and OPOS drivers for the same device).

John or Glen - I seem to be having the same problem. Error message 425. I have only the OPOS driver installed with a Parallel port (COM1) selected and it still won't work. I have also downloaded OPOS ADK 2.4 E drivers. Any ideas?

Parallel Ports use LPT1 Serial Ports use COM1
So if your printer is a parallel make sure it set to LPT1.
