Error 425. Printer is locked

"Error 425. Printer is locked and cannot be accessed."

Anyone know what causes this error? I have only the SO POS software running, and I also have the option in Configuration->Options set to share OPOS printers setting.

Printer works in the Epson OPOS "check healthtouch" test.

Hi,

I have this same problem, and I don't have a solution. Have You found a solution for this error, 425?

It is urgent, for me. Thanx in advance...

I, too, am having this problem, which is odd....I had a store owner tell me she was having this problem just yesterday and now I am having the same issue.

I take it nobody has a fix for this yet?

I'll try to keep digging. Thanks!

Well I never really did solve this problem, but i did find a way around it. I was using a TM-T88IIIP reciept printer which uses the LPT1 port. I changed the I/F board on the reciept printer to use an USB port instead. This did solve the problem. It appears that the LPT1 port is locked by something unknown. But if you can somehow get a converter or change to a different port on your computer, your printer locked problem should go away.
