A week or so ago, I was testing my laser printer and used QB 2005 Pro to print a few dummy checks, which I numbered 10000, 10001, 10002. When finished, I deleted them all. However, now, when QB sets up to print a new check, it assumes the next check number is 10004 etc. rather than the correct sequential number, which is in the 1400 range. How can I reset the QB memory?

In my version - QB Pro 2003 UK - when you next enter a cheque, simply enter the next number in the correct series and QB will continue the numbering in that series.
