Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with the sale no on my sales receipts not defaulting to the next number. Back in October something happened and since then they default to being blank. How do i get the sales no to default to the next consecutive number.

QuickBooks is last state saved for all new transactions. So you must create a NEW sales receipt and put in the number you wish to start from, and save that (editing a prior saved transaction will not work). Once you have created and saved the receipt with the new number, the next new sales receipt created will have the new number +1
