I have 10 copies of Quicken Deluxe 2007 in sealed boxes to give away in a random drawing that will end at 12:01 a.m. central time on August

15, 2007. Although entry requires an email, the email addys are not being collected or used for any other purpose than the drawing.

Haha! I don't know why you do not believe me, although I know it is pretty unbelievable. I asked a PR firm that represents Quicken for a couple of copies for a blog contest and they sent me more than a couple of copies. I would have preferred that entrants be able to just enter comments in the blog post as is the norm, but Suite101 has recently been taken up by new management and they are working on developing the site's old format - such as a blog without the ability to take comments.

I tell people to avoid free software scams all the time:

However, in this case, it's just me getting the email and after Imail off the winner's software I will be deleting the emails from theentrants.
