Months back I (we) engaged in a thread discussing online savings accounts that allow the use of DirectConnect.
After the discussion, I ended up staying with IngDirect even though they only allow WebConnect.
I recently signed up for an Online Savings account with HSBC.com. I can confirm they allow DirectConnect. They also pay 4.25% -vs- 3.75% for IngDirect.
It's a no brainer for me! ;-D
