Possible workaround for Q2016 'overly sensitive' hover problem

May 04, 2017 0 Replies

Some Q2016 users have reported being unable to import QFX files into Quicken because when they try to select a menu sub item, the menu sub item choices all disappear.

If you have the 'overly sensitive hover' problem, here's a workaround (to import QFX files) you can try (I don't have the problem, so I can't test to see if this works around the reported problem):

Hold down the ALT key and press f. Continue to hold down the ALT key, release f and press i. Continue to hold down the ALT key, release i and press w.

In my Q2016, that process displays the Windows dialog to select the QFX file to import.

If that helps, I suspect many other Quicken menu/sub-menu items can be accessed using the same basic process. Hold down ALT then press the underlined letter in each menu/sub-menu item you wish to select.
