I just installed 2004 and there are some things about it I really don't like compared to the 2002 I just left:
The bar on the right (well, could be on your left), where 2002 gives easy access to accounts, online center, reports, etc. Well, in the
2004 version, seems the only thing you can put there now is accounts. If you want to go to the online center or a report, it pops up a new window. This is an improvement? I don't think so. In 2002, I always kept several reports open and in my bar for easy access. Am I missing something or is this really not an option in 2004?What about 2005? Does it bring this feature back?
The other thing I hate about 2004 - all the account registers are the same color and I searched in Help and searched online and find no way to change this. Having different colors for different kinds of accounts is a very handy way to quickly identify accounts. Taking away that option is a step back. Are there idiots running this company?
Does 2005 bring the register color feature back?
