Quicken 2004 "Find" dialog box is hidden

Jan 11, 2006 3 Replies

When in my register, I do the CTRL-F to open the Find dialog box. A shortcut to the dialog box appears at the bottom left hand portion of the screen, but no dialog box appears. Any help, comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Just for reference, it works on Win2KP. But, Intuit has not repaired the initial settings for the "find". Until Q05, they were initialized based on what field of a transaction you were pointing to. So, if you left the cursor on the Amount field and that had 123.45 in it, the Find dialog would pop up with that being what to search for. Very handy.

That irritated me too, but Intuit made it even better now. Put the cursor on the field you want, right-click and select the "find" option.
