Maybe they want you email, so they could contact you to get the patch logs. What would trying to fix a bug in a patch require them to have your SS# or Bank Account #'s.

I'm guessing that the newly created Money Converter by "Dan" over at Intuit is attempting to verify the previous version and can't....
SO - the solution would be to just post a copy of the module it wants to compare so the compare would succeed...
Now they are stuck in the Update Queue Hell ... how to get a new "fix" ahead of the current "fix", so that it will correctly compare and allow the patch engine to install the newly created converter stub.

read the rest of the recent NEW topics on this subject, and/or on the Quicken support forum.
Basically - there is a 72meg download to totally replace your Quicken program with an updated one....
