Quicken Home Inventory

Has the Home Inventory bug ("Quicken Home Inventory has stopped working...") been fixed when running under Vista with Quicken 2008?

Do you happen to have Logitech keyboard/mouse management software installed on your machine? Neither Billminder & Sidebar Gaget, nor the Q Home Inventory module included in Quicken Deluxe 2008 (and same for 2007) will run unless I close the Logitech manager software.I have latest release software for Logitech MX3200 wireless kb/mouse, and both peripherals work fine without the software running (just not all the bells and whistles). After much trial & error I have narrowed my conflict to this software. Quicken support has no resolution, stating that it is a 'Logitech problem'. Currently in ongoing contact with Logitech. Now that I've reliably isolated my conflict, it's not a big issue for me. I don't really use Billminder (or the SB Gadget), and simply disable Logitech to run QHI. All of the modules run fine with Logitech disabled. Don't know if any of this applies to you, but it may help someone.

Yes, I am running the MX3200 system. Disabling the Mouse and Keyboard Settings (setpoint.exe) did solve the problem.

...I replaced an MS wireless system with a Logitech so that I could get the Quicken register to scroll properly with the scroll wheel. Now the fix breaks something else. Oh, well...knowing the workaround is really helps.

Thanx for the tip.
