Something Very Strange

I am using Quicken 2007 with Windows XP. Quicken has been working fine for a long time. I've recently downloaded transactions some three times now. Each time it appears to be downloading just fine. After downloding has stopped there are red flags next to the accounts that were presumably downloaded. But when I go and look at them there are no new transactions. Opening up the "Downloaded Transactions (0)" list at the bottom of the page there is still nothing there. I close Quicken, reopen it, and the red flags are still there. But no transactions!

I've reinstalled Quicken once but there is still nothing there.

Same thing here. Happens with Fidelity Investments, but not all the time. However, when I close and reopen, the transactions ARE listed.

Another weird thing, online bank accounts have a link on the bottom right of the register screen..."web site". For Bank of America, some of the time it's there, and some of the time it's not.

Have you seen this?

No, I hadn't. Thanks. I'm using R3 now, so I'll watch my end of month Fidelity download.

Same failure to place transactions in the register. First Merrill Lynch and now this morning Fidelity too. Have done the suggestions on the "tinyurl" link this morning and now we wait and see.

I'm looking at the "Quicken Home" page in Quicken 2007. But I don't see a "Download" button.

I don't have Q2007, but I think you are misinterpreting the information.

You can initiate a download when any Quicken screen is displayed (like Online > One Step Update); this particular problem only occurred if the download was initiated while the Home screen was displayed.

My problem this morning was with the open Fidelity register and the "Update Transactions" button. Same as with the Merrill Lynch account. Quicken home Page and the "One Step Update" hasn't done it yet. However it looks like once the problem starts, (at least with the Merrill Lynch account) it continues no matter where I run the update from.

Looks like we need a patch for the R3 patch.
