TTax 2014 vs HRBlock - for now

With having used TTax Basic for all these years, and not requiring the Interview Mode but just forms mode

- Support my needed baseline forms A, B, and C, E -

- Import 1099 from financials like Schwab, Chase, Vanguard, Fidelity, etc

- Import for K-1s using ".txf" Tax Xfer File format.

NOW having to jump from Basic --> DLX --> Premiere I think I will do it this year, and see what happens... My 1040 is complex with K-1s, 1098-T (tuition & 529 acct) so lots going on - and I know my way around TTax (well, used to).

THEN - we will see any fallout, or even the discontinuing of desktop products..

MAYBE for next year I'll take a look at HRB desktop software.

If you only have very simple needs for a Sched C - then Deluxe & = Premiere support it. I also need Sched D for my stocks cap gains/loss and Sched E for some simple rental property

SO.... it looks like Premiere for my 2014 experience...
