two issues ....

Recently purchased a new PC with Vista. Installed Q2006 Dlx and copied/imported all of my Q. files from my old XP box. All is working fine for, but now I notice a couple of things.

One, when I click on Help -> Quicken help, I get that the program cannot display the web page, with messages telling me to check the usual internet connection issues. I have no other internet connection problems, including downloading txns from my financial institutions.

Second, the reason I was accessing help was to find out how to group some scheduled transactions. When I imported the files from my old PC (running Q2004) there were some grouped scheduled transactions. After a while I completely re-worked my scheduled transactions and deleted the transaction groups. Now I'd like to regroup a few and cannot find where/how to do it in Q2006. (For instance, for every scheduled paycheck, I'd also like to schedule some contributions to savings goals. Right now they are all individually scheduled.

Apparently, this behavior is caused by a recent Microsoft Security Update, KB942615. Only you can decide if you want to uninstall it. After searching some, I did, and it solved the problem.

Click the "Options" button at the bottom of the dialog box when creating a New scheduled transaction; the "Group" button is near the botton of the resulting dialog.
