U.S. Bank D/L

Had always used web-connect to D/L my USB transactions. Switch to direct connect just the other day. Never had it before because it costs $4.94/$6.95 a month. NOw, I can view my accounts online and webconnect would download all my transactions I can see online. Usually they were updated in th A.M. But with direct connect there seems to be a delay of 12 to 24 hrs before the online transactinos appear in Quicken with direct connect. Has anybody else experienced this? Why should I pay $ only to get my transactions 24 hrs later!
