This with Q2009D: After months of no problem, Quicken starts telling me that there's a "popup" that's preventing it from doing a web connect. So I log onto the banks' site and there does seem to be a new screen, so I deal with that and log back into the bank's site just to confirm that things are now smooth.. and they are...
So i go back into quicken and it *STILL* says it can't log in. So I try a trick that usually works: I deactivate the accounts [there are two: checking and savings, I deactivate both] and then try to reactivate it. BUT: a problem. I can't reactivate it.
I go to 'edit account' and hit the "Online Services" tab. I do "Activate one Step update" and do "Yes, connect to the bank through Quicken". I then give it my acct# and password. Then I hit "next" and it goes away for a few mintues with "getting acct info" and "receiving account info". The "Getting account info from ". Then I get an error: "We're sorry but we had a connection error. Quicken can't download your info right now". Is there anything I can do now, other than leave the accounts "manual" and try again tomorrow? [just wondering if there's some way to find out WHY quicken gets a connection error and if there's anything I can do to try to get it fixed]. Thanks!
